Before any business can trade online
they must have the ability to accept payments through
their bank, known as an acquiring bank. The banks
offer this service via their controlled services.
NatWest have 'Streamline', Barclays
have 'Barclaycard Business', and HSBC have 'HSBC
Merchant Services'. Each of these acquiring banks
are able to issue to a online trader an Online Merchant ID,
allowing them to take credit/debitcard payments.
A Merchant is a business that has been
issued a Merchant ID, however in order to sell online,
a Merchant must be issued with an Online Merchant
ID.
We can guide merchants through the merchant
application procedure to make the process as quick
and simple as possible. Because we are completely
independent of all the Banking Institutions we can
advise on which banks are offering the best deals,
helping you to save even more on your transaction
fees.
For further information telephone one
of our specialists on 0870 225 1058, who can

account. Alternatively, you can fill in the Application
Form, and one of our operatives will contact you.
